Zhongyi ZHAO Attended “HKVCA 12th China Private Equity Summit”

“12th China Private Equity Summit” was held in Hong Kong on June 11th. This summit was hosted by Hong Kong Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (HKVCA), and over 360 representatives from government administrations, enterprises and different industries attended the summit.

On the summit, many industry experts of governmental administrations and financial institutions such as Julia Leung, Under Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury, Hong Kong SAR, and Linbo HE, director of Private Equity Department under China Investment Corporation conducted deep discussions on the current development situation, the current challenges and opportunities and so on of the China’s VC and PE industry. When talking about capital divestment strategy under the current IPO market environment, Jiuding Capital founding partner Zhongyi ZHAO said that at present IPO is still the main channel for PEs’ divestments and the suspension of IPO will not block the development trend of China’s capital market.

The Hong Kong Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (HKVCA) was established on November 12th, 1987 based on a recommendation in the Working Party of the Hong Kong Association of Banks' study of venture capital.
