On August 24, Shanghai Senon Energy Saving and Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. (833372, invested by JD Capital) was officially listed on the National Equities and Exchange Quotations (NEEQ).

Senon specializes in the technology R&D and equipment manufacturing of evaporative crystallization, drying, filtration and heat transmission in various industrial fields including industrial waste water treatment and gas disposal, and is committed to equipment engineering design, development, manufacturing, installation and other services in relevant industries. Its customers are mainly from such sectors as environmental protection, chemical engineering, fermentation, pharmacy, and food, with the products especially suitable for the back-end links of waste water and gas treatment as well as waste water recycling.

With the development of the petroleum, chemical engineering, food and pharmaceutical industries in China, technologies of gas & liquid separation and purification, especially evaporation and crystallization, are playing a more and more important role. With economic growth and the improvement of people’s livelihood, there is an increasingly larger demand of green, environmentally-friendly products produced with renewable resources. Against this background, industries specializing in such technologies with energy saving and consumption reduction capacities are expected to grow robustly.

So far, there are over 1,000 gas & liquid separation and purification equipment manufacturers, among which over 100 are of designated size with an annual sale volume exceeding 100 billion yuan. What’s more, there are around 300 evaporative crystallization equipment manufacturers, over 50 of them generating a sales revenue of around 5 billion yuan in 2014. Currently, the total sales in the domestic market is on a rapid increase.

JD Capital became Senon’s second largest shareholder in 2012, holding 20% stake before its listing. So far, 36 of JD Capital’s invested companies have been listed on the NEEQ.
